Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
- Organize technical work for the preliminary bidding of photovoltaic and wind projects, including substations and transmission lines, which involves on-site surveys, coordination with engineering team, reviewing design documents, and organizing technical review meetings.
- Prepare for preliminary work in electrical engineering, collect information for KSA subcontractors, and prepare technical parts of RFQ.
- Communicate with KSA clients, carry out technical sales work, understand the requirement of client.
- Manage and coordinate design subcontractors to ensure the quality of design deliverables and design progress.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely approval, delivery, and installation of equipment and materials to meet project requirements.
- Participate in on-site engineering and approval works to ensure equipment installation meets design requirements and complies with SEC or other required standards.
- Communicate with regulatory authorities (eg.SEC ) to assist in obtaining permits and approvals required for projects.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering or related, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electric Project, with experience in substation and transmission line design preferred.
- Familiarity with the design principles and relevant standards of electric power systems, proficient in the use of power system analysis software or other electric software.
- Excellent project management and teamwork skills, able to effectively communicate and coordinate with different stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.=
