Employment: Full Time

Position Summary: The Director of IT at Fairmont Riyadh will oversee the development, implementation, and management of all information technology strategies and initiatives within the hotel. This role will ensure the smooth operation of IT services to support the hotel's operational goals and enhance the guest experience through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the hotel's IT strategy, aligning with the overall business objectives.
- Identify and implement new technology solutions to enhance guest experiences and improve operational efficiency.

IT Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the reliability and performance of all IT systems.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of the hotel's data and systems through effective cybersecurity measures.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Project Management:
- Oversee IT projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels are met.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor and report on IT expenditures.

Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant IT regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.

Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and innovations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve IT services and support within the hotel.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
- Experience with cybersecurity and data protection practices.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations.
