Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager with a minimum of 15 years of expertise in the engineering consultancy industry and in-depth mastery of FIDIC contract forms. This role will lead the contract administration and risk management for a portfolio of complex engineering projects within Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with project objectives, ensuring optimal risk allocation, and protection of the company's interests.
• Lead negotiation of contract terms and conditions, draft and review complex contractual documents, and provide expert guidance during the tendering/bidding process.
• Manage all aspects of FIDIC contracts including claims preparation and defence, variations management, dispute resolution, and project closeout. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Effectively communicate complex contractual matters.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in contract management.
• Providing guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification in Contract Management is a plus
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract administration and management within the consultancy industry.
• Extensive experience with FIDIC contracts in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is essential. In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contract forms, principles, and procedures.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Must have a Valid IQAMA, if Non-Saudi.
