Job description / Role
This is a site-based position at Trojena Project in Neom.
Prepare, negotiate and review and maintain various company contracts, including purchases, rental, sales, business partnership and projects contracts to avoid potential risks to the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Review contracts and mitigate the risks involved in the projects prior sign-off
• Negotiate to avoid or at least minimize Keller’s exposure to commercial and financial risks, in coordination with the Sales Manager or in direct negotiation with the customers’ commercial team.
• Having cross functioning role with the Procurement Manager for the key suppliers’ agreements, thereby amending terms to Keller’s favor and protecting its rights.
• Coordinate the monthly application procedures and ensure submitted as per Project parameters.
• Liaise with subcontractors in terms of payments, variations and any other commercial activities on-site.
• Directly correspond and follow-up with Finance department for all projects regarding Advance/Performance Bond requirements and communicating in advance for procuring these bonds for a timely cashflow.
• Timely invoicing and coordination with customers’ commercial team/QS ensuring timely cashflow.
• Prepare weekly report templates for all projects in the Branch.
• Monitoring weekly reports for all projects in coordination with the Operations and the Finance Managers.
• Prepare contractual correspondences ensuring that the company is covered with regard to the terms and conditions set out in the contracts.
• Address variations and claims.
• Perform re-measures and consolidate into BOQ lumpsum costs (if required).
• Follow–up for payments, claim retentions and acquire Acceptance certificates.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Qualification:
• Bachelor's in quantity surveying (further contract management training would be preferred).
Experience:
• 6-8 years of experience in Commercial/Contracts management with at least 2 years working in the Middle East.
• Should be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and readily available in-country.
Language:
• Good command of English language both written and spoken; knowledge in Arabic is an advantage
