COWI Qatar Dry Utility Department requires an Electrical Engineer with management experience to support our continued growth and to help us to implement our ambitious goals in the market. We are looking for a technically strong and multi-skilled colleague with demonstrated ability to inspire and manage staff and to work with cross-functional project teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivery and quality of project deliverables; you will be client facing and represent the Utilities Design team in meetings with stakeholders; you will be supervising a team to ensure timely correct delivery of project deliverables with client and stakeholder approvals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of proven work experience within Electrical engineering, substantiated with employment certificates
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing infrastructure projects and / or sub-consultants
- BA in Electrical Engineering (4 years duration at an internationally accredited institution)
- Electrical design experience of LV and MV distribution and substations
- Infrastructure projects experience
- Excellent oral and written English language skills
- Preferably Qatar or Middle East experience
- Preferably experience with international consultancy company
- Preferably already registered as an Engineer Grade A in the State of Qatar

- Able to work across disciplines and to manage cultural differences
We would appreciate if the candidate has contracts management, HV and EHV project experience and design software knowledge. NOC required in case of current or recent Qatar sponsorship.
