Job description / Role
Client is seeking a junior estimation engineer to join their tea in Qatar. Western management and a steady flow of projects.
The candidate must have experience in fast track interior fit-out.
* Reviewing Tender documents (Drawings, BOQ’s, Specification, Engineering Request, etc.)
* Preparation of quotations/offer letter based on the Sales/Design/MSR request, etc.
* Maintaining the file system both electronically (Server files) and physically (Filing cabinet).
* Generate BOQ’s for small & simple formwork system required by the Sales team.
* Assists the entire Commercial/Accounts/Engineering/Sales department for any request, documents, information required for any specific offers/quotation/project information etc.
* Maintains the List & Cost prices of all materials which are locally & internationally produced/bought/manufactured for GHI with the collaborations from Accounts & Procurement department respectively.
Salary is paying in the region of QR 10 - 14,000
Requirements:
* Prepare tender submittals like Drawings/Offer Letter/Specifications for the sales team.
* Monitors the flow of quotation/offers in & out using project tracking via Excel/Log Book.
* Communicates to all departments/Clients via email or telephone for day to day.
* Attends meeting for project enhancements when needed.
* Prepare delivery plans/schedules for any specific project for the sole purpose of estimation when required and as instructed by the management.
* Responds to clients email when the need arises especially when they require further clarification or information from the generated quotations given to them when sales are not available.
* Check drawings/specifications given by clients/sales/design directly when the assigned person to do the task is not available or on leave.
* Monitors the flow of physical stocks (KSA/DXB) for delivery estimate in the offer purpose.
