Job Description
- The Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing the project scheduling, cost, and delivery standards.
- Prepares project plan, communicates it to the team, and reviews the plan with the Project Manager.
- Manages the day-to-day activities within the project taking place on the client site and within the team working at Giza and manages the problems that arise.
- Communicates all necessary project purchases to the Order Processing Department and provides them with technical assistance for the ordering of project supplies.
- Follows-up on stage approvals with the client and compiles acceptance sheets for each module, as well as final acceptance sheets for the whole project.
- Monitors the invoicing on a project and notifies the Finance of all the necessary interim invoices to be issued to the client.
- Prepares and submits weekly activity reports and time sheet to the Project Manager.
- Prepares and submits monthly project progress reports to the Project Manager.

Requirements

Personal Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Very good command of English
- Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure and deal with different cultures.

Technical Skills
- Practical experience in Control or Test & Measurement and Educational Instruments and Mechatronics Systems.
- Up to 7 years of experience in a relevant field with experience in Measurement and Control equipment.

Education
- Bachelor of Engineering with a Specialization in Mechatronics, Electrical, Communication or power
