Job Description

As a Steward at Hawar Resort, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary operations by ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail, dedication to cleanliness, and teamwork will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and other items to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of dining areas before and after meal service, ensuring that tables, chairs, linens, and other items are clean and presentable.
- Collect and remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dining areas, and dispose of it properly according to resort procedures and regulations.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, and portioning ingredients, as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols and regulations while performing stewarding duties, and report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the stewarding team and kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the resort.

Requirements:

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
