Job description / Role
- Set targets for students at the beginning of each term and ensure the targets are met throughout the term.
- Promote innovation and creativity in students and integrate them in every lesson and in extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain effective and professional communication with parents regarding their child’s performance.
- Exhibit subject knowledge, modeling correct use of language verbally and in a written format.
- Abide by and follow the school’s teaching and learning policy,
- Write daily/ weekly lesson plans for all his/her classes and submit them to the Subject Leader for review and approval.
- Maintain confidentiality of students and students’ records.
- Comply with Abu Dhabi Education Council and school regulations in terms of students’ safety, corporal punishment, and child protection
- Demonstrate punctuality, timeliness, and attendance for assigned responsibilities in a professional manner.
- Perform other related duties that the line manager may assign.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ of teaching experience
- ICDL or advanced computer skills, English teachers must have IELTS and/or TOFEL/TESEL certification
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Good Time Management
- Preference given to teachers experienced in teaching the American Curriculum
