Employment: Full Time

Job Summary: Development and execution of the project cost plan and monitor and control costs and collects data to ensure conformity with top management’s budget directives, cost tracking, forecasting; and financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Study and understand all relevant project documents relating to the cost management of allocated project(s).
- Setting up project(s) within Computerized Cost System to agreed format.
- Perform a variety of cost engineering functions including cost control, budget preparations, projected cash flow, forecasting, and cost reporting under limited supervision.
- Producing regular reports and advising management promptly of any forecast costover/under run, with recommendation for corrective plan.
- Maintaining comprehensive accessible registers of financial approvals, variations and change orders.
- Establish Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and integrate with WBS.
- Review all PO’s as issued for cost committed.
- Report turnaround and project actual vs. baseline cost status as required.
- Report earned value per trends and Project and identify trends that impact the final costprojections.
- Review proposed cost changes with construction personnel, client and contractors.
- Review project man-hours and the allocation of man-hours, labors cost, material purchasing in conjunction with the planning team on weekly basis.
- Monitor market force and commodity trends- anticipate likely related problems, based on current affairs.

Requirements:

- Good general understanding of Cost Management, Estimating and Change Control.
- Excellent communication &interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in written and verbal English.
- Civil Engineer Bachelor of Science degree
- Mathematical acumen & financial expertise.
- Minimum five years experience
