General Manager - Director

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading lifestyle management service provider with a global presence. They seek a General Manager to oversee the UAE operations; sales, public relations, marketing, and service.

Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Manage the UAE P&L and control costs, set annual budget for UAE and report monthly on P&L to UAE Board.
- Spearheading strategic growth activity for the UAE.
- Drive sales activity (corporate & private) to insure all revenue targets are achieved.
- Act as a support for all business development and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and strengthen strategic brand associations and partnerships locally.
- Maintain all personnel issues, recruitment, structuring, pay scales and annual remuneration submissions.
- Ensure completion of annual appraisal process and oversee training initiatives locally.
- Key representation of the Company in UAE (Networking, event attendance, business association, PR activity)
- Overseeing the annual sales/marketing plan and orchestrating brand building opportunities.

- Possess a minimum of 6 years in Sales and Marketing in a managerial role from luxury retail brand and event management, travel or automotive industry.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Strong numeric background with previous experience of P&L responsibility
- Local contact book spanning all major industries and previous exposure to handling of VIP’s/Celebrities/Senior Executives.
