Systems Controller - Qatari National - Hamad International Airport - Qatar

This role is responsible for the execution of content across all customer facing websites and touch-points. This person will work closely with the several cross-functional teams (digital marketing, design, IT and Duty Free) to ensure each area of the websites and mobile applications are updated with the promotional content and brand imagery to drive the sales and functionality.

You must have a strong experience in Content Management Framework and PHP programming, including experience building object-oriented websites in PHP5, modern PHP Framework (eg: YII Framework, Drupal). Additionally, you must possess strong communication skills to help the business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

Experience of working with databases such as MySQL/SQLite/Oracle/MS SQL. Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern. Strong focus on object oriented programming (PHP, JQuery and JavaScript). Strong experience in HTML5 / CSS3.

The successful candidate will bring an attention to detail, strong time management skills and desire to learn. This role is key to content execution and content modifications of the HIA sites.

Requirements:

To be successful in the role you must hold a Bachelor's degree either in Computer Science or Engineering. You must have at least 1-2 Years of experience in E-Commerce or Web development experience (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript). Also, 1-2 years of experience with Drupal Web Content Management platform.

You must have highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn and a strong desire to succeed. You must have the ability to accomplish specific task within a reasonable time frame. You should also have strong detail orientation and high degree of accuracy, as well as an excellent communication skills.
