Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Administer the employee relations activities according to established guidelines and sound practices and in accordance with the organization’s vision, values and goals. Administer disciplinary, grievances and compassionate related issues and provide support and guidance to all employees on work related issues and conflicts.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategy and plans in relation to employee relations to meet the current and future needs of the Company.
- Use all internal communication channels to communicate employee relations strategy, plans and programs to all employees.
- Contribute to the development and the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of employee relations activities.
- Administer grievances process and procedures.
- Resolve, discuss and support issues arising from grievances.
- Ensure support is provided to all employees to resolve grievances and conflicts.
- Track and capture systematically the development of issues from the initial trigger through to their resolution.
- Investigate and follow up on grievance, harassment and disciplinary cases, conduct grievance and disciplinary interviews with employees and produce the necessary investigation reports with recommendations.
- Investigate and follow up on unexplained leaves of absence.
- Conduct exit interviews with leaving employees, collect their feedback, analyse it, present findings to management and suggest improvements to reduce turnover.
- Coordinate with Health and Hygiene Specialist on issues related to employee health and fitness to work.
- Investigate and monitor employee sick leaves and medical issues.
- Conduct periodic or “ad-hoc” presentations to management to present employee relations findings and trends.
- Contribute to the continued improvement of the Company performance by monitoring factors impact employee performance such as sickness absences, levels of grievances, disciplinary, work/ life balance, and develop initiatives and solutions to enable positive trends.
- Provide accurate advice on issues arising from employment contracts and legislation.
- Help Employees and Supervisors to settle work-related conflicts through advice and guidance.
- Monitor work environment through issues arisen and alert management about expected possible issues that impact employee performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Law, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Certification in Human Resources is an advantage.
- Candidates must be Bilingual Arabic/English.
- 6 Years of experience in Human Resources including (2) years in Employee Relations.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage.
