Project Manager - Store Planning (H&M) - UAE

The Role:
The Space/Store Planning Manager is accountable for all aspects of planning for new and renovated stores - from surveys and time plans to space and design layouts. You will be responsible for managing the H&M International Planning System, as well as planning each project in conjunction with the Operations Teams, both locally and in Sweden. You will be required to travel to Sweden for International update/review meetings, and participate in regular planning visits to Kuwait and other Middle Eastern countries which you will be responsible for.
Additionally, you will:
* Manage all teams to obtain required information to progress with a new store project and/or rebuild
* Manage the areas relevant to the role in the Interior Planning System (IPS), H&M System - Time Plans being the Key Area of Importance and accuracy of information given/uploaded
* Manage the store planning process of each project in line with the H&M Guidelines and Operations Team
* Manage approval of all store layouts with the relevant teams
* Work with H&M - PM to review all survey drawings
* Understand all Interior of H&M
* Manage and assist with the design of the Rebuild Stores in line with Host Brand Systems and Procedures to ensure planned timings are met
* Develop & maintain internal & external relationships and act as an ambassador for Alshaya
* Act as a facilitator between Property Team, Kuwait and Sweden with regard to the brand's requirements & expectations
* Maintain & manage all Alshaya systems in line with company policies
Requirements:
* A qualified Architect
* An Interior Design Qualification (preferred)
* A minimum of 5 years experience in architectural and interior designing and space planning
* Experience working on Autocad
Retail experience is a major advantage.
