Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the boutique, providing personalized attention and excellent customer service.
- Understand customer needs and preferences, and guide them through the selection of Indian fashion outfits, accessories, and other products.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the products, including fabric, design, and cultural significance, to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized boutique environment, including arranging displays and merchandise to enhance the shopping experience.
- Effectively handle sales transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain record of all stock in-store and compute month end sales reports for finance team.
- Assist in taking product pics & videos for website and social media.
- Assist with product pic uploads on website.
- WhatsApp broadcast our messages to clients. Answer WhatsApp messages regarding products .
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive selling, cross-selling, and upselling techniques, and participate in promotional events to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on inquiries and feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the boutique management team to contribute to the overall success of the business by providing valuable insights and feedback on customer preferences and market trends.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Salesperson or Retail Sales Associate in a fashion retail environment, with a solid track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Passion for Indian fashion and cultural diversity, with a deep understanding of traditional Indian outfits, fabrics, and design elements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and build rapport effectively.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach and a proactive attitude towards achieving sales goals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and peak shopping periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for processing sales transactions and managing customer information.
- Fluency in English & Hindi is required, and knowledge of any other Indian language would be an advantage.
