Project Director

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join an international architecture and engineering consultancy in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large scale infrastructure projects in UAE-Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and drive the successful completion of high-profile projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of infra construction projects
- Chair site progress meetings and administer the contract at site
- Manage, review and approve technical submittals, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings
- Monitor contractors progress at site
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization

Salary:
AED 60,000 to 65,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects as a Project Director or in a similar senior leadership role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Extensive infrastructure experience including roads, bridges, highways, utilities etc.
- Experience working with international project management consultants or construction supervision consultancy firms
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to construction projects.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are highly desirable.
