Landscape Architect

Job description / Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Architect to join an award winning landscape consultancy in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and sustainable outdoor spaces, and possess a strong understanding of design principles, plant materials, and construction techniques. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from large hospitality schemes to high-end public realm projects across the Middle East.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to develop creative and practical landscape designs that meet their needs and vision.
- Prepare designs from concept through technical stages, incorporating sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs with overall site plans and building projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, provide guidance to construction teams, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of landscape design processes.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Proven experience in landscape design and project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects that demonstrate creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite etc
- In-depth knowledge of plant materials, horticulture, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming design and construction challenges.
- Professional certification or licensure in landscape architecture is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
- A genuine passion for creating inspiring and functional outdoor environments that enhance the quality of life for communities and individuals.
