Junior Interior Designer

Company Overview:
Join our client's team at one of the leading furniture companies in the UAE, where innovation meets luxury in every design. They specialize in crafting bespoke interior solutions for both business and residential clients, ensuring unparalleled elegance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and Sales Executives to gain insights into client requirements.
• Create imaginative and comprehensive mood boards and design proposals tailored to B2B and B2C clients, covering all facets from spatial planning to décor.
• Present design concepts directly to clients, articulating the vision and addressing any queries or modifications.
• Develop architectural and shop drawings to transform design concepts into tangible structures.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) using Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assemble sample boards for client presentations in alignment with approved designs.
• Integrate full accessories within mood boards and BOQs to provide clients with a holistic view of interior spaces.
• Review joinery drawings provided by contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
• Pay meticulous attention to design details to ensure the flawless execution of concepts.
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently, adhering to deadlines and demonstrating a proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth.
• Coordinate with both B2B and B2C designers to maintain high standards of professionalism and meet project deadlines.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting adaptability and efficiency in all endeavors.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Interior or Architecture Design.
• Proficiency in layout design, color theory, lighting concepts, material selection, and custom furniture design.
• Expertise in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
• Proficiency in Google Sketchup for 3D modeling.
• Familiarity with Sketchup Layout for presenting design proposals.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for image editing and visualization.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite for documentation and communication.
