The Interface Coordinator is a critical role that serves as a liaison between different teams, stakeholders, or systems to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and integration.

The position requires strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to manage complex relationships and facilitate seamless interactions.

The Interface Coordinator will support the Interface & Stakeholder Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of interface issues between the project contractor and project team. The Interface Coordinator is responsible for driving the process to see that all interfaces are identified, registered, managed, and successfully concluded in a timely and structured manner. The Interface Coordinator functionally reports to the Interface & Stakeholder Manager.

The roles and responsibilities of the Interface Coordinator include:
- Coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, and other collaborative activities.
- Developing and maintaining interface documentation, such as Ips and user interfaces.
- Ensuring data integrity and consistency across different systems.
- Managing and resolving conflicts or issues that arise between teams, Contractor, or stakeholders.
- Responsible for the initiation and chair of regular interface meetings in a timely alignment or enhance information sharing in line with the interface program and discipline needs.
- Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all internal interface issues that arise and act as a focal point. The Interface Coordinator is expected to initiate actions proactively, expedite interface technical.
- Matters and maintain a general overview of the interfaces and escalate any issue to Interface & Stakeholder Manager for resolution.
- Responsible to ensure interfaces are identified, defined, and settled in a structured manner. Interface Coordinator must work with the interface counterparts to ensure interface deliverables are prepared and coordinated with documents for record in the Aconex assigned to Phosphate III.
- The Interface Coordinator is expected to maintain the interface coordination documentation to facilitate the coordination activities and to produce progress reports.
- Responsible for ensuring interface registers (action logs) are being up to date to enable.
tracking (and identify the status) of the interface definition process.
- Responsible for obtaining the interface deliverable information in accordance with the interface schedule.
- Responsible to ensure that the relationship during the interface coordination process between the project team, the client and Contractors remains productive. The Interface Coordinator is expected to keep discussions issue- oriented and to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
