Purpose of the job
As a data analytics Sr. Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of analysts and BI experts to drive actionable insights, reporting, and data-driven strategies to enhance customer experience and optimize business performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You will set the strategy for data/business analysis across orange Egypt to serve Business owners, provide insights for CVM team and lead the CVM product.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting and Visualization:
- Define and implement reporting frameworks and KPIs to track key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Define orange Egypt reporting and insights strategy: data marts, data visualization tools,
- Collaborate with RA, RB, fraud teams for analytics requirements

CVM Analytics and product ownership:
- Own the integration between the CVM system and the promotion engine to enable seamless execution of targeted promotions and offers.
- Own campaign analysis and monitoring with commercial teams across b2c, b2b and cash to ensure campaign profitability and efficiency
- Lead the development and enhancement of an in-house CVM system to support targeted marketing, customer segmentation, and campaign management.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to define requirements, design architecture, and implement new features and functionalities.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the CVM system to support growing business needs and data volumes.
- Implement segmentation requirements for new campaigns, align with data science teams for ml targeting

- Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
- Set clear goals and objectives, provide regular feedback, and evaluate performance to ensure the team achieves its objectives.

Requirements

Job specification

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical skills in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience with customer analytics, segmentation, churn prediction, and customer lifetime value modeling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of analysts and data scientists.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry or related fields is a plus.

Skills and abilities
- Very good English both written & spoken.
- Advanced SQL
- Good knowledge of BI and DWH, data lakehouse solutions
- Good knowledge of Big Data, Python, Spark,
- Past experience in telecom operators and service providers is preferred
- Good programming and debugging skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
